Direction of Use

  • Apply as pre-emergence spray between 0-5 days after transplanting using a knapsack sprayer fitted with flat fan nozzle. Instruction for use : Avoid flooding the field up to 24 hours after application.

Time of Application

  • When used as per the recommendations given below,Pretilachlor 37% EW provides the pre-emergence control of grasses, sedges and some brad leaf weeds in transplanted rice

Precaution

  • Do not use cooking utensils for preparing the spray solution. Use stick for stirring the spray solution.
  • Avoid contact with skin, eye and clothing. Avoid inhalation of fog and vapors.
  • Wear hand gloves to avoid contact with the skin. Wear protective clothing, mask, goggles, and boots, while handling the product.
  • Do not eat, drink, or smoke while applying the product. Wash hands with soap and plenty of water and change clothes after the work is over.
  • Avoid contamination of air and water bodies with the herbicides. Also wash the contaminated clothes.
  • The repeated use of any herbicide or with herbicide with the same mode of action could lead to selection of resistant weed.
  • Certain agronomic practices may reduce the likelihood that resistant weeds will arise. In fields where resistant weeds are suspected, integrate strategies that are available to manage such population. For specific recommendations, please contact our local representative.
