Mode of Action
Mesotrione is a striketone known to inhibit the enzyme 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase while atrazine is a triazine that acts by inhibiting photosystem II.

- Do not mix with any insecticide or fungicide.
- No specific antidote is known for Mesotra. Apply symptomatic therapy.
Precautions
Do not use cooking utensils for preparing the spray solution. Use wooden stick for stirring the spray solution. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, mouth and clothing. Avoid inhalation of fog, vapors or spray mist. Wear protective clothing (full sleeve shirt and pants), chemical resistant hand gloves to avoid contact with the skin, mask, goggles, hat and boots, while handling the product. Do not eat, drink or smoke while applying the product. Wash hands with soap and plenty of water and change clothes after the work is over. Avoid contamination of air and water bodies with the herbicide. Also wash the contaminated clothes before re-use. Newly treated areas must not be grazed and all livestock is to be kept out until the treated area is dry. This product should not be applied (tank – mix) with any other chemical. Do not blow nozzle with mouth. Do not spray crops under stress. If any indisposition occurs, stop the work, follow first aid measures and call a physician immediately. Spilt product must not be re-used. Collect up spilt material thoroughly and bury it in a safe place. Rinse spilt area with plenty of water. It is dangerous to re-use empty containers. Rinse empty container three times before disposal and add the rinsate into spray tank before application. Do not re-use empty container to keep food items or for any other purpose.
Symptoms Of Poisoning
Irritation to eyes, skin and respiratory tract may occur, product is skin sensitizer so it may cause skin allergy and other non-specific symptoms may be expected as labored respiration, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache and confusion.
